Tower Foundation Awards Tri-Town Council Two Year Community Change Grant

Tri-Town Council is honored to receive a two year Community Change Grant from long time foundation partner the Peter & Elizabeth Tower Foundation. The family foundation, funding non-profits based in Western New York and Eastern Massachusetts counties, is focused on improving the lives of children, adolescents, and young adults.

Tri-Town Council recognizes that in order to help youth grow, thrive and flourish, experiences that help youth develop a sense of purpose, make connections with others, and enable explorations and skill building are vital. Programming opportunities that: provide support, expand horizons, and challenge them, along with those that build caring relationships with peers, family, caring adults and community, matter. All these elements together provide a solid foundation for healthy development, mental health, well-being  and youth risk behavior prevention.

The grant award, Positive Youth Development and Prevention Through Youth Programming, will be used to support, expand, and sustain TTC’s youth programming that supports these building blocks of healthy development. The funding will enable TTC to deepen and broaden its partnerships and relationships with stakeholders and local youth serving organizations.

We are deeply grateful to the Peter & Elizabeth Tower Foundation for their support of Tri-Town youth and families and Tri-Town Council’s vision of a community where all youth have the relationships, supports and skills necessary to grow and develop into resilient, healthy, thriving adults.
