A new state law limits where people can buy tobacco and vaping products. To protect Massachusetts youth, currently, all flavored vapes have been removed from regular stores. Beginning June 1, 2020, all flavored tobacco products -including menthol cigarettes and menthol, mint and wintergreen products, like cigars and flavored chewing tobacco -will only be available in smoking bars. These changes are designed to stop the tobacco industry from targeting and addicting youth, communities of color, and LGBTQ+ communities.
